Accolade Award Honoring New Mexico Film Company Montage 3 Films Not a Mistake

Directorial debut of Christopher Chilton the right choice

For Immediate Release

SANTA FE, N.M./EWORLDWIRE/Oct. 22, 2009 --- Although Director Christopher Chilton's film reveals a confused man, there was no confusing the honor Montage 3 Films LLC ('http://www.montage3filmsllc.com') experienced in winning the prestigious Award of Merit from the Accolade Competition.

The award was given for Chilton's directorial debut on the short film, "Mistaken."

The storyline begins with Howard, played by Jilber Ferri (Stand-Up at Caroline's on Broadway), who has been beaten. Howard (Ferri) awakens to find himself abandoned and locked in a trunk. With no recollection of the events that brought him there, he searches to find traces of his lost identity.

Ferri is cast with Leah Myette, who was nominated for Best Achievement in Acting by the SoCal Film Festival for her role as Sarah in the film, and Rodrigo Robles aka Robin Zamora, who plays Mark.

"We are so excited to be among all the talented filmmakers awarded an Accolade. Our projects are a collaborative effort from seasoned industry professionals who come together to create low budget, high quality, entertaining and inspirational projects," said Producer Sabrina Edwards-Rojas.

"Winning the Accolade Award is truly an honor for all of us," stated Executive Producer Rosemary Edwards.

The Accolade recognizes film, television and videography professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout entertainment or contribute to profound social change. Entries are judged by highly qualified professionals in the film and television industry.

Information about the Accolade and a list of recent winners can be found at TheAccolade.net ('http://www.theaccolade.net'). In winning an Accolade, Montage 3 Films joins the ranks of other high-profile winners of this internationally respected award. Thomas Baker, Ph.D., who chairs The Accolade, had this to say about the latest winners: "The Accolade is not an easy award to win. Entries are received from around the world. The Accolade helps set the standard for craft and creativity. The judges were pleased with the exceptionally high quality of entries. The goal of The Accolade is to help winners achieve the recognition they deserve."
