International photography competition shines bright with graphics from Crush Creative.

BURBANK, Calif./EWORLDWIRE/Feb. 22, 2007 --- Crush Creative, a southern California-based visual communications agency recently completed the production of Lambda Duratrans prints for the Red Bull Illume Image Quest photography exhibition tour.

Debuting in Aspen, Colorado on January 25, Red Bull Illume presented the fifty finalists of their international photography competition. These finalists will have their work exhibited in outdoor venues across the globe.

Working with One L. Productions, creators and designers of the exhibit, as well as Sparks Themed Environments, Crush Creative produced fifty Lambda prints to be mounted to cube shaped light boxes. These eight feet square, freestanding light boxes are made out of aluminum painted black and appear to be large metal cubes during the day. The Duratrans graphics are mounted to mirrored glass on two sides and using generators located inside, the photographic images are illuminated at night.

Red Bull Illume Image Quest is the first international photography competition that celebrates the world of action and adventure sports. More than 2,000 professional and emerging photographers from over 90 countries submitted their best action sports photographs spanning ten distinct submission categories. Official contest judges consisting of esteemed photo editors and respected image experts from around the world selected five finalists to be put on display in each of the ten categories.
